During the New Years winter vacation period for a number of years “Sumy Grace Church” has held a teen winter camp at Grace Camp. The beginning of 2015 was no exception, as from January 5 to 9 teenagers could go on an exciting winter’s journey. The theme of this years winter camp “In the Twighlight of the Empires” – Biblical truth about the end times here on earth, what is and what we can expect. About 30 teenagers and children came to the camp to learn more about Jesus, His second coming and Christmas. Through this time they participated in the daily Bible studies and evening worship services, as well as personal contact with the leaders. Many of the teens learned about/heard about the Gospel. The teens also had the opportunity to participate in sports and other games, do crafts, learning to bake, play table football and air hockey, to participate in the services, and of course … eat.
One very interesting event was traveling to the nearby village (population 6000+) in order to wish the residents a Merry Christmas. The camp was divided into two teams, who went from house to house, sharing of the Savior who was born and His miracle through Christmas songs and poems. Many villagers were happy to hear the Good News about Jesus. Some invited the team into their homes, gathering their family and friends and treating their guests with sweets, as the teens who sang to them about Christ were being very hospitable and grateful. The homes which the teams visited were given a gift from the campers – Christian calendars for 2015 and postcards made especially for this event by the teenagers. Despite the cold and frost from the -15 to -20 degree weather, the hearts of the teens were warm, and they were contented with the opportunity to share and do good deeds.
At the conclusion of the camp, a Christmas banquet was held, at which the participants of the camp praised God and enjoyed a good time, fellowshipping with one another, games, listening to the children’s team and the team leader. It concluded with a message, on the theme of the end times and the role of Jesus in their life. At the end of the holiday teens and leaders received boxes with gifts, a feature which was the candlestick for each – a symbol of the light that Jesus shed here on earth, stating in His Word that we are now “LIGHT OF THE WORLD.” Share this light to those who still do not know Jesus as their Savior!

Зимнее время каникул уже на протяжении нескольких лет «Церковь Благодати» использует для проведения зимнего подросткового лагеря. Начало 2015 года не стало исключением, и с 5 по 9 января подростки могли отправится в увлекательное зимнее путешествие. Тема зимнего лагеря-2015 »На закате империй» — Библейский истины о последнем времени на земле, что есть и что нас ожидает. Около 30 подростков и детей приехало в лагерь чтобы больше узнать об Иисусе, Его Рождестве и втором пришествии. Об Этом они слышали на ежедневных библейских уроках и вечерних богослужениях, а также при личном общении с лидерами. Многие из отдыхающих первый раз узнали о Благой вести. Так же подростки имели возможность участвовать в спортивных и других играх, делать поделки, учится выпечке, играть в настольный футбол и аэро хоккей, участвовать в служении, ну и конечно… вкусно поесть.
Одним из наиболее интересных мероприятий был лагерный поход в с.Битица с целью поздравления жителей с Рождеством Христовым. Лагерь был поделен на две команды, которые ходили от дома к дому, воспевая Рождённого Спасителя и Его подвиг в рождественских песнях и стихотворениях. Многие жители села были рады услышать Добрую весть об Иисусе, некоторые приглашали в свои дома, созывая своих родных и близких, будучи очень гостеприимными и благодарными детям, которые спели для них о Христе, угощая гостей сладостями. Так же хозяева, у которых побывали участники лагеря, получили подарок от детей — христианские календари на 2015 год и открытки сделанные подростками специально для жителей с. Битица. Не смотря на холод и мороз от -15 до -20 градусов, сердца подростков были горячими, и они остались довольны временем, когда можно сделать добрые дела.
В заключении лагеря состоялся Рождественский банкет, на котором участники лагеря прославляли Бога, радовались хорошему времени, имели общение друг с другом, игры, слушали выступление детской команды и команды лидеров, делали выводы во время проповеди, размышляли о последнем времени и о роли Иисуса в их жизни. В конце праздника дети и лидера получили коробки с подарками, особенностью которых стал подсвечник для каждого — символ света, который Иисус пролил на грешную землю, сказав в Своём слове что мы теперь «СВЕТ МИРА». Поделитесь этим светом с тем, кто ещё не знает Иисуса, как Своего Спасителя!
