Did You Know – China

Language is always an interesting topic. Learning to speak a language or learning to write a new language is always a challenge. But think of learning Chinese – either Mandarin or Cantonese. Now that would be a challenge. Did you know that there are 40,000-plus characters in the Chinese language. An educated adult will only get to learn 5,000 of them. You will need to know 900–2,000 Chinese characters to be able to read a Chinese newspaper. If you have done this or attempted it – good job!
