Simply Stroganoff

Ingredients

Hamburger (1 lb/500 g)

Oil – 2 tablespoons or so

Onion – medium sized

Mushrooms – 1 cup or so fresh mushrooms or 1 10 oz can of sliced mushrooms

Salt – to taste (at least 1 tsp)

Pepper – to taste (at least 1/2 tsp)
Flour – 2 Tablespoons

Beef Bullion – 2 cups (if you are using bullion cubes/paste etc, 2 cubes/tablespoons in 2 cups of hot water)

Sour Cream – 1/2 cup or so

Grated Cheddar Cheese  – 1/2 cup or so

Instructions

In frying pan (medium heat) add oil, add hamburger, onions and mushrooms, salt and pepper

Brown hamburger, break up lumps as you go

Drain most of fat, discard

Sprinkle flour on meat, stir in, cook for a few minutes
Add beef bullion/fluid, stir well, simmer for 5-10 minutes
Add sour cream, cheese – stir in well and simmer for 5-10 minutes

Serve over rice, noodles or your carb of choice
